Match Preview: Juventus vs. Roma

Juventus showed an impressive response after their humiliating loss to Genoa. The Old Lady quickly went back to its feet and snatched three consecutive victories, including the one against Dinamos Zagreb in the Champions League.

A closer look at the results of their previous matches show that they score an average of two goals. They thrashed Atalanta with three goals, Dinamo with two and they scored another three in the Turin Derby.

Despite the absence of its key players such as Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci, they have been very efficient.

Gonzalo Higuain continues to fulfill his role as one of the club’s go-to-guy. He has already delivered nine goals since he joined the team from their rival club, Napoli.

Also making some noise in the scoring arena is Mario Mandzukic, who has five points under his belt. Since the Old Lady has dominated their last six home matches against the capital club, it would be profitable to go for a the home wins by 1 goal bet (3.58).

However, it is less likely for them to keep a clean sheet in this match.

Roma is a highly competitive squad. They are aware of what awaits them if they allow Juventus to take the early lead. They will most likely equalize before the second half starts. A draw at half time is priced at 2.28.

Radja Nainggolan, who scored the winning goal against AC Milan is one of the crucial players that will heavily influence this match. He is bringing some grit and pace for the club and with the prolific Eden Dzeko, who has already scored 12 goals for Roma, it would be hard for Juventus to get away with an insurmountable lead.

Nevertheless, considering the fact that the Bianconerri has been very consistent, it would be best to go for the correct score 2-1 (8.82)
