Undecided Draxler Gives Arsenal the Transfer Boost

It is not yet final. Arsenal can still secure Wolfsburg’s Julian Draxler despite being strongly linked for a move to Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

According to the Sun, a reliable source confirmed that the young playmaker has not made a decision yet. To note, the exact word is that “nothing” is done.

Although the big spender from Paris looks like they have already won the race, Draxler is still weighing his options. For now, the only thing that is certain is that he has already played his last match at the Volkswagen Arena.

The alleged source added that the player’s decision will be released in the coming days. This is in line with the upcoming January transfer window.

On the other hand, Wolfsburg does not see anything reason to prevent the transfer. The club is eager to sell for a £34M fee and PSG is more than ready to accommodate their demands.

Draxler is one of the promising players across Europe. He was part of the German squad that won the coveted World Cup trophy in 2014.

But prior to his World Cup feat, he is known for his impressive performance at Schalke.

Sadly, his success at Veltins Arena was not replicated at Wolfsburg.

Since he transferred, he has only delivered a goal.

Arsene Wenger has long been an admirer of Draxler. The latter has been his eye candy for quite some time and the news of him being available was music to his ears.

However, his interest temporarily waned down when he heard of PSG’s aggressive pursuit. With this good news, there is a high possibility that Wenger will not allow this opportunity to slip through his fingers.

Bleacher Report said that Draxler is a crucial part of Arsenal’s attack. His presence is said to work well with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott.
