Dybala Expresses Desire to Play for Real Madrid

Juventus ace, Paulo Dybala may not stay in Turin as he prepares for a shock move to Santiago Bernabeu.

According to reports, the 23-year-old scoring machine has already held talks with Real Madrid’s President, Florentino Perez, regarding his plan to play for the club.

Dybala is expected to play for the Old Lady until 2020 and is said to be haggling a deal with his current club. But it looks like no negotiations have been made yet.

Juventus offered the young player €5.5M. But the Argentina international demands a €7.5M, which is what Gonzalo Higuain currently earns.

Hopes were high that he will remain and consider Juventus’ present deal. However, he stressed that he has not signed any contract yet. In addition, he explained that he wants to see what the future will bring as negotiations continue. Thus, it indeed, came as a big surprise when he announced that he has been secretly talking with the Los Blancos’ head honcho.

Prior to Real Madrid, Dybala has been linked to Barcelona.  Xavi, for one, fancies him. The ex-Barca man described him as one of the players, who have this so-called “Barcelona DNA.”

Unfortunately, he turned down the Catalan giant’s €80M deal.

Should Barcelona continues its pursuit and ward off Real Madrid’s interest, they need to sell one of their biggest players to secure his signature.

Dybala built his name when he was still in Palermo.

He is often dubbed as the successor of his Argentina compatriot, Lionel Messi.

His light shone even brighter when he transferred to Juventus in 2015.

Playing for the Old Lady, he delivered 23 goals in his 34 appearances. But it was not only the goals that placed him under the limelight. More than anything else, he stepped up when Carlos Tevez left them.

This season, he has already delivered four goals in his last 10 appearances.
