Match Preview: Fiorentina vs. Juventus

This is yet another acid test for Fiorentina. The team is still on the verge of recovering from its three-match winless streak and this is slowly pushing them out of the league’s top 10.

As for Juventus, this is their chance to increase their lead against title rival, Roma, which never fails to increase the pressure against them.

Clearly, the Old Lady (1.78) is primed as the heavy betting favorite of this match. Sitting on top of the Serie A table, the team sports a five-match victorious run in their last six matches. Their current form is strong and if you take a look at their past encounters against the host, you will see that Fiorentina has never won against them.

Juve’s winning streak over the Violas took place in their last six matches. In those games, the Old Lady scores an average of two goals. However, they could barely secure a clean sheet in all of their six face-offs.

It is therefore profitable for one to go for an over 2 bet (1.61).

Meanwhile, Fiorentina has not been very impressive. They lost three of their last six matches and they are currently trying to hold on to the 9th spot of the league table.

Despite their poor form though, their possibility of scoring in this match remains high. As mentioned, Juve could hardly keep a clean sheet against them. Moreover, they are undefeated in their last 10 home matches. As a matter of fact, if they are just consistent, there is a possibility for them to even force Juventus to a draw.

Yet, as mentioned, the Old Lady will not want to drop points—not in this crucial match

Expect a down the wire encounter between Fiorentina and Juventus, with the match yielding a 1:2 (9.30) score.
