Match Preview: Sevilla vs. Real Madrid

This is going to be a rematch for both clubs, which, just recently, went against each other to snatch a spot in the quarter-finals of Copa del Rey.

The Los Blancos dominated the two-legged match. However, Sevilla’s resilience cannot be disregarded.

Their undeniable strength at home is evident with how they forced Real Madrid to settle for an even steven finish in the 2nd leg. The match yielded a 3-3 result. Despite losing, it cannot be denied that they are one of the most powerful teams to reckon with.

This is not the first time that Sevilla held Real Madrid to a draw. Their most recent encounter in the domestic league also gave a similar result and now that their upcoming match will take place at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, they can be fairly considered as a threat.

Sevilla is undefeated in five of their last six matches. Similarly, they have also won five of their last six battles held in their own turf.

However, it is less likely for Real Madrid to simply give away the points.

The team knew that they cannot rely on their four-point lead. The advantage is very manageable and if they let their guards down, they will be giving not only Sevilla, but also other title contenders such as Barcelona to keep the pressure against them.

Due to this, their possibility of winning the match is definitely higher. Going for Real Madrid (1.89) proves to be a profitable bet.

This is most especially true that they are enjoying the momentum of their Copa Del Rey victory and their 40-match undefeated run.

But as they travel to Sevilla, it is unclear If Isco and James Rodriguez will play since both players are having injury issues.

Indeed, this is going to be a tough match, but expect both squads to score. The predicted final score is 1:3 (13.35). Thus, one might want to consider an over 2.5, 3 (1.60) bet in here.
