Match Preview: AC Milan vs. Napoli

With Napoli securing wins over another, AC Milan’s Vicenzo Montella will have to be more creative in preventing the Partenopei from monopolizing all the points.

Obviously, Napoli (2.03) is the clear favorite in this match. They are unbeaten in their last nine matches and is less likely to drop points in here mainly because by doing so, they will also forego the chance to remain in the title race.

They trail Roma by three points and with Juventus suffering a shock defeat to Fiorentina, they are only looking to a four-point lead, which is highly manageable. All they need is to be more consistent in their future matches.

Many of Napoli’s players are out to participate in the African Cup of Nation, but the team remains confident since they sport an impressive form. They won five of their last six matches and scored at least three goals in it.

But if there is one thing that really gives them the assurance or better yet, the higher chance of winning the match, this is the fact that they are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 matches against the Rosonneri. In their most recent encounters, they have scored more than one goal. Therefore, going for a correct score of 1-3 (15.72) is a profitable bet. It is also lucrative to bet on Napoli’s total goals to be over 2.5 (1.92).

Meanwhile, Milan has the possibility to create an upset in this match since they are undefeated in their last eight encounters at San Siro. But the problem is that their four midfielders are sidelined. Their recent performances have been very inconsistent too and as mentioned, they need to flex some extra muscles when they go against Napoli, a squad that they’ve been having a hard time to beat.
